A hotel that feels like home – in Linköping’s tallest building
Just an eight-minute walk from the central station is Sky Hotel Apartments Tornet. It offers 70 hotel apartments of different sizes on six floors. If you want a really gorgeous view, you should book our rooms on Top Floor, on floors 15 and 16. We are available on email and phone Monday-Friday 9 am to 9 pm, Saturday-Sunday and public holidays 10 am to 6 pm. Check-in takes place via Self Service Check-in where you collect your key via our key box in the lobby. All rooms have a kitchen, and there is a supermarket close by.
Our hotel rooms
Our vision is that when you stay with us, you feel like you’re at home. For this reason, all our rooms are nicely decorated and spacious, with meals area, living room space and of course a kitchen. Just like at home, the kitchen has a hob, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, and the utensils you require. The bathrooms are fully tiled. The rooms also have free WiFi and TV, so you can both work and relax.
You can stay with us for one night or several weeks, or even up to four months. Such long hotel stays cannot always be booked on our website, so please contact us directly.
Things to do
In the evening you can go to one of the local restaurants, or walk to the main square in just 15 minutes, where you can enjoy the city’s extensive range of restaurants and stores. If you want to get there quicker, you can hire a bicycle from us. In the same building as the hotel there is an Actic Gym where you can work out for a reasonable price during the hours it is staffed.

On foot from the central station
Sky Hotel Apartments is just an eight-minute walk from Resecentrum – the central station in Linköping. If you get off a train or a bus on the same side as the station building you need to get to the other side of the railway line. Then follow the walkway along the railway lines towards the Tower. The railway lines should be on your left the entire way. The entrance to the reception is on the other side of the building.
Public transport
You can also take bus no. 10 from the train station. Travel time is about 4 minutes. Get off at the stop Tornbyvägen.
By car
From the North (E4):
Turn off the freeway at the turnoff for Linköping Ö (the first exit for Linköping). Continue for 1.2 km. In the second roundabout, turn to the right, toward Tornby. Take a left onto the road ‘Tornbyvägen’. You have arrived!
From the South (E4):
Turn off the freeway at the turnoff for Linköping, Berg, Bergs Slussar, and continue for 520 metres. Follow the sign for IKEA Linköping, and drive 400 metres. In the roundabout, take the second exit, onto Bergsvägen, and drive 420 metres. In the roundabout, take the third exit, onto Roxviksgatan, and drive 530 metres. In the roundabout, take the second exit, onto Bonnorpsgatan, and drive 1.4 kilometres. You have arrived!
Sky offers free parking just a few minutes walk from the hotel entrance. You can park at the entrance at the time of unpacking and then park the car. No permission is required in the window. You will find the parking behind the brick buildings.
