Vander to operate new apartment hotel at Verksgata 54
Smedvig is transforming the historic property at Verksgata 54 in Stavanger into a 57-room apartment hotel. Vander will operate the building upon completion, further strengthening its presence in the city.
The historic property at Verksgata 54 in Stavanger is being transformed into a new apartment hotel through refurbishment and expansion of the existing structure.
The completed development will comprise approximately 3,000 square metres and 57 rooms. The project preserves key architectural qualities while adapting the building to contemporary standards for energy, safety, and functionality.
Upon completion, Vander will operate the property as an apartment hotel, with opening expected next summer.
Project context
The project forms part of the wider renewal of eastern Stavanger, where Smedvig has been active for several years. Verksgata 54 sits close to Pedersgata within an area undergoing substantial urban development.
The development supports Vander’s continued focus on operating apartment hotels in central urban locations through partnerships with developers and property owners.
