GRAND OPENING
Malmö City
Sky Hotel Apartments takes over the operations of Malmö City on 15 May 2026. The property is located at Kaptensgatan 1 in central Malmö and currently features 243 hotel apartment rooms.
Following a full renovation in 2026 and 2027, the property will be rebranded under the Vander name.

Our vision is that when you stay with us, you feel like you’re at home. This is why all our rooms are nicely decorated and spacious, with dining area, living room space and of course a kitchen. Just like at home, the kitchen has a hob, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, and the utensils you require. The bathrooms are fully tiled, with shower and combined washer-dryer. The rooms also have free WiFi and TV with Chromecast, so you can both work and relax.

It offers 70 hotel apartments of different sizes on six floors. If you want a really gorgeous view, you should book our rooms on Top Floor, on floors 15 and 16.
We are available on email and phone Monday-Friday 9 am to 9 pm, Saturday-Sunday and public holidays 10 am to 6 pm. Check-in takes place via Self Service Check-in where you collect your key via our key box in the lobby. All rooms have a fully equipped kitchen.

About us
Sky Hotel Apartments was founded in 2009 in Linköping, and we've come a long way since then. Our biggest growth was when Sky Hotel Apartments and Bjørvika Apartments in Oslo became one. In 2022 we established a new brand identity - VANDER.
The name, Sky, was inspired by the place where it all began – on the 19th floor in Linköping’s tallest residential building: Tornet. Today, the name is also a reminder for us to always aim a little higher in everything we do.
Vander is a scandinavian hotel apartment chain where you feel more at home than away. Stay for months, weeks or just one night, in a modern apartment.
